urgent! coffee bean propagation problem?
i am trying to propagate green coffee beans but all of them show rot signs (cotton like structures on the soil) do i have to let them wait in any chemical or so?experiences are preferable.
I don't know a darn thing about propagating coffee beans, but I do know that what you're describing is a fungus and that there are products sold in garden centers to treat seeds and starter medium to help prevent that. 2 tsp clorox to a quart of water and soak overnight will greatly decrease fungus from forming on other seeds (I use it) as will starting them in perlite or vermiculite, which is pretty cheap.
