I just purchase Topiary green carpet for my upstairs and downstairs landing and hall.?
Now, I'm trying to decide what color scheme to go with. My house is a traditional center entrance colonial. I have a lot of cranberry, green gold. I was wondering if I should go with a neutral color or something bold for the walls because the carpet (up the stairs) and in the halls will be somewhat dark. (kind of like that new green). Please help?
What were you thinking? You say your options are neutral wall color or something bold and you have alot of cranberry, green gold, with a topiary green carpet, Id say youve played your bold card already, best play it safe now. Neutrals. The difference between a designer and a decorator is that a designer makes their mistakes on paper. Bold choices like this create a real design challenge. I wish you luck.
